After dropping three mixtapes and an EP in 2015, Rich Homie Quan laid pretty low this year, releasing only a few singles and visuals; however, it appears the Atlanta rapper is finally ending his much-needed break.
On Tuesday, Quan released “Ya Ya,” a Supah Mario-produced track featuring fellow Think It’s a Game signee YFN Lucci. The song is exactly what you would expect from RHQ, who uses his signature mutter flow to rap about one of his favorite things: money.
“I get that money for sure/Money stacked up in the house off the shore," he spits. "I was in Houston fucking with the raw/Before all the stripping before the galore.”
You can listen to “Ya Ya” below.
According to Quan’s Instagram page, the track is just a taste of what’s to come.
Does this mean fans will get a new mixtape soon, or perhaps his long-awaited debut studio album? We’re not sure at the moment. But what we do know is that RHQ is back and he has new music on the way. Stay tuned.
